🤓 Hello!
I’m a behavioural scientist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of British Columbia.
My research is interdisciplinary and designed for positive impact.
I focus on unemployment: How do systemic and behavioural barriers interact to shape people’s job prospects?
To maximize impact, I build partnerships with government and industry.
I have 7+ years’ experience using behavioural and data science to improve policy.
I used to work as a Sr. Behavioural Scientist for the BC Government. Before that, I worked as a Policy Analyst with the Government of Canada.
I have a PhD in Political Science (from Simon Fraser University) and a Master’s in Public Policy and Public Administration (from Concordia University).
I’m originally from Vancouver. I *love* chips and salsa. I have two great dogs. They’re silken windhounds—a wild, wonderful breed.
